Manager, Compliance & Data Management

Alfa Laval

About us
Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About The Job
As our Manager of Compliance & Data Management, you’ll be responsible for leading our compliance and data management efforts, overseeing a dedicated team in both areas. On the compliance side, you’ll manage a small team of compliance professionals while developing and maintaining our BU HFH compliance roadmap, which is approved by the BU HFH compliance board. In data management, you’ll support the execution of key processes such as assortment control and PPL price adjustments, while ensuring that our end-to-end product data processes are in place and running smoothly.

You will play a key role in ensuring global compliance and data management across multiple regions and markets. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Keeping the organization informed of global changes in compliance regulations, legislation, and market requirements.
  • Managing documentation and traceability requirements, ensuring our systems align with strategic goals and international standards.
  • Acting as the global representative for compliance for BU HFH, providing support and guidance on complex customer inquiries and compliance challenges worldwide.

The position will be based in Kolding, Denmark. We expect travel activity to be approximately 20-30 days a year.

What You Know
You bring deep expertise in compliance and data management, with particular emphasis on compliance regulations in hygienic food and pharmaceutical environments. Your strategic mindset allows you to navigate a matrix organization, influencing various stakeholders and setting the direction for compliance initiatives across different markets.

We are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, preferably in hygienic food or pharma industries.
  • A Master’s degree in a field related to compliance and/or food and pharma industries.
  • Strong understanding of market authorities, regulatory requirements, and future compliance trends.
  • A commercial understanding that balances regulatory demands with business needs.
  • Experience managing small teams of compliance professionals and navigating diverse agendas.

Who You Are

You are an organized and strategic thinker who can prioritize and manage diverse projects while keeping an eye on the broader compliance landscape. You enjoy networking, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring things get done. As a leader, you inspire your team while maintaining focus on the bigger picture.

With a keen eye for detail and a strong commercial sense, you know how to keep us ahead of the curve in compliance matters, while also supporting our data management processes. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are ready to represent our compliance efforts confidently to internal teams and customers alike.
