About us
We are looking for a collaborative and hands-on Website Specialist to join our Marketing and Communications team in Copenhagen. We are currently building a new website, and you will play an instrumental part in ensuring the success of this site.
What you’ll do
In this role, you can nerd out about website marketing, site architecture, and optimizing tracking and analytics so we can deepen our understanding of our audiences and their needs. It will be a collaborative role, working with many internal content editors, ensuring that web needs are supported, and information is delivered in the most optimal way.
At DIS, our students (our core audience) represent Generation Z, which requires us to continuously update our digital universe to meet their expectations. As our Website Specialist it will be your job to stay on top of trends and recommend how we can implement relevant new features to best serve our audiences.
Your responsibilities will include
- Maintaining site architecture, functionality, and performance of all DIS websites
- Driving and developing SEO strategy, especially for our new core site, DISabroad.org, to improve search performance and expand traffic
- Customize, configure, and drive our analytics and insights platforms (primarily GA4), Tag Manager, and dashboards across sites to ensure we are achieving our marketing targets
- Identify emerging trends to keep our websites current and innovative
- Work closely with our external web agency to enhance and develop sites and implement new features
Your qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience in
- Operational maintenance of multiple websites and their CMS, ideally with WordPress and the Gutenberg Editor
- Information architecture and user experience optimization
- Reporting and utilizing analytics to drive web strategy, including the ability to navigate GA4, Tag Manager, cross-domain, and cross-platform tracking
- SEO strategy development and execution
- Basic web development languages, including HTML and CSS
- Navigating privacy, data, and cookie regulation
- Cross-team collaboration, working with content editors and providing guidance for optimizing complex web content
- One to three years of experience in website marketing preferred.
