About the role
We seek a dynamic Manager for our Process Automation team, focusing on delivering Automation Engineering Services in Pharmaceutical API production. The role is pivotal in leading automation engineers, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and driving competence development aligned with our “Fit for the Future” strategy. You’ll coordinate resources, prioritize tasks, and implement process improvements to meet ambitious goals.
Your expertise will guide our diverse project portfolio, that range from feasibility studies to handover of fully operational pharmaceutical facilities that span from very large greenfield projects to medium sized revamp of existing facilities. You’ll be part of ensuring global standards harmonization and effective stakeholder engagement.

How you might spend your days
As a Manager in Process Automation, you'll be working with a motivated, multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be
- Managing a team of 15-25 automation engineers specializing in Process Control Systems like 800xA, SattLine, and DeltaV
- An integral part of the management team, reporting to the Process Automation Director and leading competence development initiatives across Denmark and India
- Engaging in stakeholder communication and collaboration to meet customer needs effectively
- Providing visionary leadership to the department, hiring and retention of automation engineers, focusing on innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning to enhance team performance and project success
- Efficiently allocate resources for automation projects and initiatives, ensuring cross-departmental coordination
- Actively participate in projects to stay abreast of technical advancements and maintain alignment with NNE’s operational standards

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- You have a degree in engineering within Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical production or equivalent
- You have minimum 7 years of experience within pharma/biotech or life science industry
- You have experience in people management and/or team management
- You have experience with engineering projects in the industrial and or life-science sectors, experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry is an advantage
- You speak and write Danish and English
