About your future role
As a successful Senior Scheme Relationship Manager, you will be charged with defining and executing Merchant Service scheme governance, relations, and scheme commercial agreements, providing the framework for Merchant Service go-to-market scheme-aligned products and propositions across all products and segments, and with it driving increasing levels of scheme incentives into Nexi.
It will be you to set up and maintain internal MS awareness and understanding of scheme governance, relations, and commercial agreements, working closely across Nets business units as well as Group functions. Identification of all incentive risks/issues and development and execution of associated mitigation plans to ensure incentive targets and met as a minimum is key.
You have the drive to constantly improve scheme governance, relations, commercial agreements, and P&L performance and seek to inform and influence where appropriate.
You will work in a team with highly engaged colleagues and with a hybrid presence in the office.
Your key responsibilities in this role will be:
- Define and develop MS scheme governance, relations, and commercial agreements
- Establish Nexi as a market leader in this area.
- Work across Nexi Group and business units
- Drive continuous improvement across governance, relations, contracts & incentives
- Ensure early identification of all incentive risks/issues and mitigation plans
- Partner closely with internal teams as required
- Conducting administrational items such as workshop coordination with internal as well as external stakeholders
- Major task owner to financial tracking of the activities across all products as well as data analysis and/or analytics (together with Finance)
- Responsible for project-orientated management for internal teams and being part of regular project calls
- Supporting all brands regarding administrational items and execution

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:
- Understanding of card payment eco-systems and in particular scheme governance, relations, contracts, and scheme incentives
- Excellent strategic/operational and commercial acumen, always striving for success
- Ability to set up MS scheme governance and relations
- Ability to drive smart strategic decisions, incorporating input from many sources including stakeholders, market data, and business priorities.
- Culture champion, helping to foster an environment of trust and empathy, helping to motivate teams (internally, and externally) to do their best work.
- The ability to work across teams and business units to achieve collective goals. Communication is key.
Additional skills and experience that would make you stand out:
