Welcome to the Digital Transformation Team in Food & Beverage BioSolutions (FBB)
You will be part of the FBB Digital Transformation team consisting of 3 Digital Product Managers and a Sr. Data Analyst. The team is set to digitalize and transform how FBB operates, engages, collaborates, and delivers technical/sales services & products to customers, enabling a superior customer experience, more efficient ways of working, and a faster build-up of industry expertise, combined with an accelerated innovation pipeline.
That means, you will be part of building customer-facing digital solutions and sharing insights with customers about how to optimize their production and processes. You will support the team with data collection, processing, analytics, visualization including dashboard development for both internal use and towards customers.
With the position, you can expect hands-on experience with data collection, management, and analysis within a leading biotech company. You will further get an understanding about how digital applications and data-driven insights create business value in the industry. The position is part-time with an expected weekly hour of 12-15 hours which can be split over 3 days. The position is temporary for min 1 year.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Assisting in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources.
- Supporting with the development and maintenance of data pipelines and data transformation flows.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of data visualization solutions incl. building dashboards.
- Performing statistical analysis and other analytics to extract valuable insights.
You will furthermore:
- Collaborate with the FBB DT team on designing and developing the overall customer-facing digital experience, where different digital products are mapped together in a seamless customer journey.
- Build communication material and support with overall stakeholder management.
- Help with other ad-hoc tasks based on various incoming requests to the team, incl. admin tasks.
To succeed you must hold:
Educational background
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., computer science, data science, biotechnology, or a related field). The candidate should have at least 1 year of studying left in their degree program.
- Prior experience with data analysis or engineering projects is a plus.
- Basic understanding of economics, finance, or business is a benefit.
Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of data structures, data models, and foundational data management principles
- Experience with data analysis tools and languages such as Python, R, SQL, KNIME, and familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, is an advantage.
- Capability to perform diverse types of data analysis, including statistical analysis, machine learning modelling, etc.
Soft Skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving to identify trends and solve business problems using data.
- A meticulous approach to details to ensure accuracy in data preparation and analysis.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-driven with a “CAN DO” mindset and curious with an interest in gaining hands-on experience and keeping skills up to date with the latest trends in the fields of Data Analytics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adjust communication to different stakeholders & audiences.
