Join us as our new Student Assistants in Business Finance.
Novonesis is looking for highly motivated students for finance business analyst roles. You will work with various stakeholders worldwide, giving you opportunities to develop your financial and commercial toolbox, enjoy a steep learning curve, and build a strong network within our global organization. You will join a team of skilled finance professionals and enable fact-based decision-making through your financial insights and analyses.

The expected time commitment in the position is an average of 15-20 hours per week. The schedule is flexible during exam periods, and we expect you to put in extra effort when needed.

Welcome to Business Finance
At Novonesis, Business Finance is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and analysis, as well as partnering with various business areas to help drive performance, value creation, and profitability in close collaboration with Senior Leadership.

As part of Business Finance, you will help empower people, enable decision-making, and create the agility that will strengthen Novonesis’ competitive edge. You will take part in setting and driving the financial wheel and ensuring that relevant financial input is brought to the table.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

Working closely with various stakeholders across Novonesis enables decisions through your financial analyses and insights. Your responsibilities and activities are broad-ranging and can include:

• Act as a Business Finance Analyst, supporting the Business Finance partners and leadership teams with solid financial insights to enable fact-based decision-making and improve financial performance.
• Help and drive performance cadence: budget, forecasts, and data collection with your colleagues.
• Support yearly budgeting process across VP areas.
• Support value steering (performance management) initiatives and align processes across the organization.
• Help drive yearly financial planning together with Business Finance partners
• Actively contributing to ad-hoc finance – and business projects.
• Support with updates of Business cases.
• Participating in the continuous development, automatization, and optimization of financial processes and tools.

To succeed as a Student Assistant in Business Finance, you possess the following:

• Be in your final year of your bachelor’s degree or in your master’s degree preferably within Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting.
• Solid academic track record.
• Proficient user of PowerPoint and Excel.
• Speak and write English fluently.
• A team player who is willing to build a network within the organization at all levels.
• Are proactive, curious, and able to approach a problem in a structured way.
• Want to be challenged and able to challenge us.
• You have a flair for numbers and a passion for financial analysis and insights.
• Have a sense of detail and ability to grasp highly complex issues.
• Have a pleasant personality and like to have fun on the way.
