What your new job will be about
To support the continuous growth and success of JYSK’s logistics operations, we are seeking a highly driven and experienced profil to take on the responsibility in a new established role as Finance Manager for the Logistics organisation. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, Logistics, you will play a crucial role in the strategic financial management of JYSK’s logistics operations and have an in impact on how to mould the new position, including budgeting, controlling, and reporting across the logistics network. Additionally, you will be a key player in JYSK Logistics Management Team and have matrix reference to JYSK Finance.
As Finance Manager, you will oversee and develop a team of 11 financial professionals and 1 teamlead ensuring that JYSK’s logistics operations are run efficiently, cost-conscious, and in line with the company’s strategic goals. Your department consists of a controlling team and a process development team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the annual budget process for JYSK’s logistics operations, including logistics support functions and DC budgets.
- Ensuring robust controlling processes are in place across all distribution centers (DCs), including KPIs, reporting, and data management to enable proactive decision-making.
- Managing the controlling and reporting on DC performance and driving continuous improvement by defining corrective actions with Logistics Directors (LDs) and Distribution Center Management Teams (DCMTs).
- Supporting the logistics organisation through deep dive analysis, business cases, and KPIs to identify the right projects and actions that will improve performance.
- Securing and implementing JYSK best-practice controlling and reporting tools across all DCs
You will work closely with JYSK Logistics Management Team, Logistics Directors, Planning and Support Managers, and Country Finance Managers to ensure financial and operational alignment across the organisation.
What you need to bring
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have some years of experience in financial management, ideally within logistics or a similar field. You are a dynamic leader with the ability to inspire and develop your team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to meet the challenges of a fast-paced, international environment.
Furthermore, you bring:
- Strong skills in budgeting, controlling, and reporting preferably within logistics and international environment.
- A solid understanding of financial systems and data analysis, enabling you to transform complex data into actionable insights.
- The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
As a Finance Manager at JYSK, you will also need to demonstrate leadership qualities that align with JYSK’s Leadership Values: Leader, Coach, Communicator, and JYSK’s fundamental values: Tradesman, Colleague, and Corporate Spirit.
You should expect approximately 50 travel days per year as part of the role.
