Financial Business Intelligence Specialist

Join us in this role where you’ll have the opportunity to support our business intelligence and reporting activities across Finance. You’ll help our finance business partners and controllers by supporting our existing systems, as well as supporting the development of new systems. Perhaps you’re currently working as a controller but are interested in a role more focused on the technical aspects. You’re driven by helping people and solving issues for your colleagues. Welcome to Business Finance
You’ll be part of Financial Business Intelligence where you, together with your colleagues, will improve the processes and overall efficiency of Finance by optimising our reporting, data, and systems. Your colleagues have a wide range of backgrounds from IT, finance, or operational roles. As a team, we believe that we perform better together. We focus on having good working relationships within our team, as well as with our IT developers, who we work with in an ART set-up.

You’ll play an important role in:

• supporting our financial models for forecasting and reporting
• being the link between Finance and central IT, where you understand both IT complexity and the Finance business processes
• optimising and automating financial processes using data and systems
• maintaining Power BI dashboards to increase financial transparency.

To succeed in the role, you:

• hold a master’s degree or equivalent in IT or Finance, with a keen interest in both disciplines
• are service-minded and a skilled communicator who can operate at the interface between finance and IT professionals
• have a curious and analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude
• are capable of building strong relationships with your changing and diverse stakeholders
• have experience in financial models in Excel, Power BI, Power Query, or similar.
