Senior Regulatory and Public Affairs Manager

Ørsted

Join us in this role where you’ll take on a unique and challenging position, playing a key part in shaping the renewable energy market. You’ll contribute to building a robust regulatory environment for the growth of offshore wind and other emerging renewable energy projects.

Welcome to Environment, Consents & Regulatory Affairs
You’ll be part of Taiwan Regulatory & Public Affairs where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for managing our engagement with Taiwanese authorities and a wide range of industry stakeholders. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise in government relations, policy advocacy, and stakeholder management to support the development and execution of our offshore wind projects. Based in our Taipei office, you’ll occasionally travel to Changhua and Taichung. As a team, we highly value each other’s individual's skills and expertise, embrace challenges and changes, and support each other to achieve our goals.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • developing and implementing strategies for external communication with relevant authorities and state-owned companies related to the offshore wind industry
  • establishing and maintaining contacts with relevant political stakeholders in high-level government departments, parliament, ministries, and political parties
  • driving the industry agenda by participating in industry association meetings, engaging with industry stakeholders, including peers, supply chain partners, and opinion leaders to ensure our interests are represented in the market
  • working closely with internal departments across value chain and connecting with Global Regulatory & Public Affairs to drive business objectives forward

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a strong sense of Taiwan's renewable energy policy and the decision-making process
  • are experienced in regulatory affairs, public affairs, and stakeholder relations
  • are an agile problem solver with both strategic thinking and hands-on abilities
  • are able to work in a team to amplify your strategies through the collaboration with colleagues while also enjoy working independently
  • are eligible to work in Taiwan
  • have strong communication skills, especially in Mandarin Chinese and English, enabling you to communicate effortlessly with your external and internal stakeholders.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
