The position
In this exciting role as Global Market Access Director within Rare Renal and Endocrine Disorder (RRED), together with your team, you will generate evidence to support the strategy in order to drive the best access for patients.

The Global Market Access Director RRED manages the development of frameworks to be rolled out across Novo Nordisk. This requiring strategic mindset, collaboration across multiple boundaries and deep knowledge of strategic pricing, health economics, and payer needs.

Some of your responsibilities that you will find:

  • Globally responsible for development and approval of Global Market Access RRED team deliverables, including the HE and pricing inputs.
  • Responsible for HE publications, posters and other activities to support the medical dialogue with payers, HCP’s and other stakeholders.
  • Management of Global Market Access RRED team ensuring working environment conducive to high performance and team development.
  • Ensure successful launches of pipeline brands as well as sustaining access of in market brands.
  • Lead collaboration efforts to align Global Market Access priorities and strategies with critical business functions (e.g. Global Public Affairs/Global Medical Affairs/Global Development).

Qualifications

  • Relevant PhD/MSc in Health Economics or a related field.
  • At least 8+ years in the pharmaceutical industry working with Market Access launches, strategic pricing and/or Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) is essential.
  • Demonstrate an up-to-date and advanced understanding of payer and policy-maker landscapes, HEOR and PRO (Patient Reported Outcome) at local and regional levels.
  • People management experience.
  • Previous working experience within rare disease is considered an advantage.

As a person, you are skilled at building and maintaining strategic relations with both internal and external stakeholders, adept at using influence and negotiation to foster collaborative partnerships. Additionally, you excel in encouraging seamless information flow between individuals and the business, ensuring efficient communication.

Also, you are fluent in both spoken and written English.

About the Department
Global Rare Disease Access and Pricing (GRDAP) is a department within Rare Disease Operations, the global head office of the rare disease arm of Novo Nordisk, driving change for patients in rare blood and rare endocrine disorders. Based in Søborg, Denmark, our expanding and high-performing team is responsible for optimising market access and pricing for the Rare Disease product portfolio.

We work closely with key internal stakeholders to establish strategies and support tactics in pricing, reimbursement, health economics & outcomes research, and value communication. Our assignments are characterised by a high degree of variability and complexity, requiring independence and initiative.
