What will you do
During your time with us, you will go through a steep learning curve, engaging with our different commercial departments and a variety of stakeholders on many levels of the organisation. You will be close to the heart of the business and get a good understanding in how we optimise the trading of our vessels and of the dynamics of the industry and its players. You will solve problems in a structured and analytical matter, such as conducting analyses and providing decision support.
Tasks during your internship may vary from analytical problems solved using Microsoft suite, to general market research and understanding of complex ownership structures within the tanker industry. You will also assist Chartering in the daily trading of the vessels and get insight in how we operate the vessels. Additionally, a quite prominent part of your internship will involve supporting the sales team and generating material for partner and sales meetings.
During your internship you will be exposed to a vide variety of tasks, including familiarising and assisting the chartering trading desk, operations and partnership and pool management.
You will be involved in the pool events, such as planning activities, preparing presentations and in a nutshell, ensuring sustainable and practical solutions to our business needs.

You study International Shipping & Trade at CBS and you can dedicate 25 hours of your time a week to the job with the possibility of extending the position to full time during the period of the internship.

You are proactive, service-minded and able to work independently. You are good at taking responsibility and demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks. Start date and working hours
Any additional hours you work on an optional basis, are covered by a student assistant agreement and paid for by an hourly rate.
Latest start date is early September 2025, with potential to start earlier in the summer if both parties agree.
