Are you an aspiring Software Engineer looking to join a world class team?

On the B2B Webshop team, we enable our external retailers to buy LEGO products and manage their orders through a modern web interface. We have several thousand users across the world with very high customer satisfaction. Our stack is (modern) Java microservices, a GraphQL middlelayer and a React frontend all running in AWS.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other software engineers to deliver new functionality and iterative improvements to our B2B webshop
• Build application services hosted on AWS using (modern) Java, TypeScript, React and more
• Learn to navigate our tech stack from CI/CD pipelines to infrastructure to backend to frontend. We are primarily looking for a backend engineer, but you can contribute to the entire stack if you have the interest
• Support our services running in production with a “we build it, we run it” attitude
• Contribute to the team’s culture and healthy software engineering practices such as code reviews, pair programming, suitable test coverage, security/privacy by design

The team is part of the bigger Partner & Markets area that is responsible for a broad range of solutions facing our retail partners and the LEGO® sales organization. We are organized in autonomous product teams working agile with end-to-end responsibility for our products, and we work together with the teams that drive the B2B strategy and its execution for the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?

• A degree or equivalent experience in software engineering, computer science or similar
• Understanding of good software practices, including but not limited to, monitoring, IaC, CI/CD, testing, pair programming
• As an Associate IT Engineer, you’re expected to be consistently contributing to the codebase, deepening your knowledge in a chosen area and to be engaged and motivated towards personal growth
• Experience with Java or another JVM-based language, or experience with modern frontend development using React
• Dare to speak up and learn from your failures
• A DevOps mentality: You build it, you run it

Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
