The role as IT Security Architect
Cyber Security becomes an increasingly important subject, as this also means that Systematic are continuing to strengthen our capabilities within this area.
As our new IT Security Architect, you will become part of our IT department (ITM) covering Infrastructure & Operations, Development Tools, Business Applications, and IT Security. You will not be alone, but join a team of people, all working to ensure that Systematic is being kept secure against the Cyber threats that we are facing.
You can be located in either Aarhus or Copenhagen.
You will be supporting, not only our software developers - ensuring that they have the best abilities to develop the critical software that Systematic develops, but also support your colleagues in the rest of ITM as well as our other business services.
All in all, you will be having the architectural responsibility reporting to the Senior Director of ITM, in close dialogue with our Chief Information Security Officer. Your main task will be to develop and maintain our roadmap for the improvement of IT Security, but additionally, you will be responsible for develop ing and designing security solutions, perform risk assessment and management as well as threat modelling.
In close collaboration with our CISO, you will be developing and maintain our strategic IT Security roadmap as well as obviously ensure, that these adhere to compliance and policy standards (ISO27001 and the alike)
Furthermore, you everyday tasks would the following area of responsibility:
- Stay up to date on emerging security threats, trends, and technologies and provide guidance and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Vendor Selection and liaison.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate risks and threats to the organization's systems and data.
- Collaborate with other departments and business stakeholders to identify security requirements and ensure security is integrated into all IT initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse to identify security issues and assist in incident response.
- Security awareness and training.
Security IT Architect with responsibility to technical lead Systematic
You have strong educational background within the field of IT and multiple years of experience working in IT Security or similar.
In addition, you can recognize yourself in the following:
- You have +3 years of experience working as an IT architect with a specialization in security.
- Have a strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS Controls.
- Having previous experience with the Microsoft Security suite, would be an advantage.
- Are experienced with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, endpoint protection, SIEM, and vulnerability management.
- Have professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
You are able to take on the tech leadership of our IT Security area as well as ensuring our systems fits together e.g. is there any policies that need to be adapted to the current needs of the business or threats. Furthermore, you are able to connect with a large variety of stakeholders and present complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues.
Since we work with security classified systems, you will have to present a clean criminal record to be able to obtain security clearance and must not have lived outside a EU or NATO country for the past 7 years. Read more here.
