Your new role
As our new Financial Controller, you will be an integral part of an expanding 8-person Finance Team, supporting Polish companies and project teams. You’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with local authorities, managing tax and local GAAP reporting, coordinating with external tax advisors, and driving process improvements. You will also lead local reporting initiatives and optimize financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- You ensure compliance with local authorities for Polish entities
- You oversee tax and local GAAP reporting in collaboration with external advisors
- You prepare monthly and quarterly Group financial reports
- You manage period-end tasks and prepare internal and external reports
- You provide controlling support, review bookings for Polish companies, and ensure financial accuracy
- You drive process optimization and task automation within the department
- You develop and implement Due Diligence processes
To succeed in the role, we imagine that
- You hold a degree in Auditing, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- You bring 3+ years of experience in auditing, controlling, or a similar finance role
- You have expertise in controlling, tax (TAX/VAT), and Polish compliance
- You are a fast learner with a passion for continuous improvement and IT, thriving in an international, fast-paced environment
- You possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to see both the big picture and dive into details
- You are experienced working with multiple stakeholders and excellent presentation skills
- Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Navision Dynamics/Business Central, ERP systems, and HFM/OneStream is a plus
- You have full professional proficiency in English and Polish
