Join us as our new Business Development Manager – Household Care, Europe
As the Business Development Manager in Region Europe, Household Care, you will become part of the largest industry in Novonesis where the passion for growth through BioSolutions is at the heart of what we do.
We are looking for an energetic and passionate colleague who thrives on learning, having many balls in the air and working across our team on a range of initiatives. One of your focus areas will be building a strong pipeline to drive growth for the region. By leveraging consumer and market insights, you will create compelling value propositions that support innovation and identify opportunities for long-term growth. With sustainability at the forefront of the EU agenda, particularly through the EU Green Deal, a key part of your role will be to understand and capitalize on these developments and to translate what they mean for the regional sales teams. You will collaborate closely with the core sales and technical teams while also engaging with stakeholders across the organization.
You will work across the sales region, reporting into the Senior Sales Director and, at times, function as a right hand to her. This means you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of initiatives and have regular management exposure – being able to balance several tasks at once is a key requirement for success in this role.

- Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the regional management team, shaping the strategic direction for the HHC sales region and supporting overall business objectives.
- Lead a small team of 3 student that support the overall sales region.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in international business development, ideally in the household care industry, from a consultancy or FMCGs player.
- Commercial Expertise: Strong commercial acumen with expertise in market analysis, customer engagement, and product positioning.
- Innovation and Growth: Proven track record of identifying new business opportunities and delivering growth through commercialization.
- Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Sustainability Knowledge: Understanding of sustainability trends and regulatory frameworks in the EU (e.g., Green Deal) and their application in business strategies.
- Team Player: with the ability to collaborate with cross functional stakeholders.
- Language: Fluent in English. Knowledge of other European languages is a strong benefit.

- Travel Requirements: Regular travel, within Europe, is expected.
