Welcome to Planning & Portfolio Optimization
Planning & Portfolio Optimization’s main focus is to deliver on our promise to customers and partners.
We work closely across Operations, Supply & Quality and with commercial and research functions to understand customer demands, manage production capacity and phase products in and out of production. Based on this information, we outline cost efficient production plans, manage net-working capital and perform long term capacity planning.
In collaboration with the commercial divisions and research unit, we also manage product complexities and lifecycles. Ultimately, we aspire to partner up with the commercial functions and positively impact topline and profit growth of Novozymes.
Further, we ensure a sharp and smooth product lifecycle leading a strategic industry outlook by partnering up in Product Management Teams and New Product Development projects representing production and supply chain.
We handle product introductions/scale-up, manufacturability assessments, Full Manufacturing Cost estimates, Basis Directions & In Production Experimental Plans, Phase-in-Phase-out, and deals with supply issues and mitigations.
This position is part time with an expected weekly hour of 12-15 hours which is split over 2 days.
In this role you’ll make an impact by
- You will be involved in many different areas primarily supporting the Operations Product Managers and Industry Supply Managers in the department.
- Your main tasks are maintaining and making quality documents. In addition,
- you will have some administrative tasks along with analysis of data.
- You should also expect other ad-hoc tasks based on various incoming requests.
To succeed you must
- Have a keen interest in structure.
- You possesses a strong knowledge of the Office packet and especially Excel.
- You are most likely familiar with simple chemical calculations and balances.
- We value a pro-active and independent individual who has a keen interest in growing and learning.
- Ideally, you will have approx. 2-3 years left of your studies
