About the role
We are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer for robotic solutions to join our Finished Products Process department. Our department designs and implements advanced process equipment and automated solutions for the final steps in pharmaceutical production, from formulation to final packaging, including wash and sterilization.

Our team of skilled engineers excels in GMP processes and aseptic manufacturing. We handle projects ranging from small-scale equipment to full-scale production facilities, integrating highly automated and customized solutions with various IT systems. You’ll be involved in all project phases, from design to handover.

We leverage the latest technology and innovative solutions, focusing on sustainability and quality, to support our customers in automating their production facilities. At NNE, you’ll work with engaged and knowledgeable colleagues, continuously developing your skills through diverse, project-based tasks.

How you might spend your days
As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll:

  • Analyze processes and clarify customer needs to ensure optimal solutions.
  • Design and specify requirements for process equipment and automated solutions in the GMP industry. These solutions often involve robotics and automated material handling systems (AGV/AMR), but can also include other mechanical or automated systems.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, acting as a liaison between them and equipment suppliers.
  • Participate in risk assessments, design reviews, commissioning, qualification, and testing to ensure high standards and compliance.
  • Interact with experts and colleagues from various disciplines, as well as external contacts, to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Depending on your role and profile, you will work as a project manager, expert, or project engineer within your field.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

  • A degree in engineering (mechanical, robotic, or production).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Life Science manufacturing, or Food production industries.
  • Experience with mechanical design and automated solutions.
  • Strong understanding of automation and lean thinking.
  • Experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Fluency in Danish and English, both spoken and written

The following is considered an advantage:

  • Experience with the implementation of robotic solutions and material handling systems.
  • Project management experience in developing technical automated solutions.
