Financial Controller

Job Description
As a Financial Controller you will have the responsibility for financial controlling for one or more legal entities in Schibsted Media. You will be responsible for coordinating with other teams in Finance and in other parts of Schibsted, and contribute and represent Group Financial Reporting in relevant projects.

The Financial Controller will report to the Head of Financial Controlling. The position will be located in either Stockholm or Oslo, and it will require some travelling.

The Financial Controller is responsible for:

• Oversee the preparation of the companies financial accounts to ensure these are presented accurately and on time.
• Report on financial insights and performance and communicate and align this with the business CFOs
• Financial reporting to Group
• Drive improvement and efficiencies
• Offboarding and onboarding of legal entities
• Ad hoc problem solving

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate should have:

• Master’s degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field
• Analytical mindset
• In-depth knowledge of the financial controlling process
• Experience with working with analytical tools such as Tableau/PowerBI or similar
• Independently driven, but collaborative and easy to work with
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and Swedish or Norwegian
