About the Role:
As our new Group RP Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Responsible Persons (RPs) across all our locations (DK, HU, DE, FI, NL, HK, AT, US, CH, UK, IE, and more to come). You will also be accountable for activities related to the operational quality of EU medicinal product supply.
This role can be based at our HQ in Copenhagen, Denmark or in Alkmaar, North Holland, Netherlands and it is expected that you will travel regularly to all our locations.
In addition to managing the RPs, we expect you to take legal accountability for the statutory and routine duties of the RP roles. Therefore, prior experience as a Responsible Person is essential.
This role reports to our QA Director, Abacus Medicine Group.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the global RP team
- Liaise with other QA sub-function leaders to ensure clear communication and oversight
- Strive for quality excellence and continuous improvement
- Coordinate, support, and promptly perform any recall operations for medicinal products
- Effectively manage relevant quality or distribution complaints
- Ensure the approval of suppliers and customers
- Approve any subcontracted activities that may impact GDP
- Regularly monitor GDP suppliers
- Ensure self-inspections are performed at appropriate intervals following a prearranged program, with necessary corrective measures in place
- Continuously liaise with different commercial entities within the AM group
About You:
- Solid experience working as a RP within QA or a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry
- At least 5 years' experience as a people manager; knowledge of distance management and inclusive leadership is an advantage
- Experience in setting up new wholesale licenses is preferable
- Excellent working knowledge and application of the current EU Guide to GDP, knowledge of WHO distribution practices, and FDA interpretation of GDP guidelines
- Good working knowledge of Quality Risk Management
- Proven experience in hosting and supporting regulatory inspections
- Full proficiency in English
Your future colleagues:
The QA organization is mainly located in Hungary, Netherlands and Denmark. In total the QA organization consist of about 100 employees, whereas the majority are situated in Hungary.
