Join us as our new Lean Performance Manager
The Lean Performance Manager is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and promoting a culture of efficiency in our GO4Excellence program (GO4E). The plants are in Copenhagen, Bagsværd and Kalundborg. This role involves implementing Lean principles and methodologies to optimize production processes, eliminate waste, and enhance overall operational performance. You will be a part of the global GO4Excellence community, supporting and framing the ways-of-working in Novonesis operations.

Welcome to Enzyme Production Europe
You’ll be working within two enzyme production areas: Solid Operation and Operation Site Fuglebakken – both part of the Enzyme production Europe organization.

  • Solid Production is placed in Bagsvaerd and Kalundborg. This area focuses on making granules and includes maintenance and automation support both in and outside the area, with a total of around 230 employees.
  • Operation Site Fuglebakken is based in Copenhagen. Here, the work includes fermentation, recovery, and spray drying, with around 120 people on the team.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence together with the functional leadership teams
  • Providing guidance and supporting plant personnel on Lean practices and methodologies
  • Taking us to a higher maturity level within systematic problem solving.
  • Lead and develop our factory metrics of the daily operations and supporting our strategic goals.
  • Facilitating Lean workshops and training sessions for plant employees
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction by analyzing production data and metrics
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams

Main activities will include anchoring & engaging metrics at the shop floor and drive systematical problem solving across functions. You will be a part of the local plant leadership teams and the overall GO4Excellence community.

This role primarily operates in the Copenhagen area, with a weekly day in Kalundborg. It may also require occasional travel to other plant locations.

To succeed you must:

  • Hold Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, operations management, or related field
  • Have proven experience in anchoring and creating excitement about Lean manufacturing and process improvement
  • Strong knowledge of Lean principles and methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
