Carlsberg is seeking a VP Global Head of Talent Management to lead and enhance our people agenda, empowering our employees and advancing our talent strategy. In this key role, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop and implement innovative talent processes and culture initiatives, ensuring our culture thrives and aligns with our core values.

You will be part of the Global HR Leadership team, reporting to the Chief HR Officer.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Define, manage, and lead the global talent strategy, ensuring alignment with Carlsberg’s Accelerate SAIL strategy and our core growth principles.
  • Shape and drive the design and implementation of future-oriented, innovative talent initiatives that promote employee development, engagement, and long-term retention in line with the overarching people agenda priorities, ensuring alignment with Carlsberg’s growth ambition and success objectives.
  • Champion a Culture of Learning and Inclusion
    Advocate for a culture that embraces continuous learning and inclusivity, empowering employees and fostering a workplace of innovation and growth.
  • Define and track success metrics for Talent Management, Culture, L&D, Talent Acquisition, and DE&I.
    Establish and monitor clear success metrics for Talent Management, Learning & Development, Culture, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives to measure impact and progress.
  • Provide leadership to your CoE team of experts within talent managers, DE&I, talent acquisition, and leadership learning, as well as Matrix Leadership to Regional Talent and Culture Directors, and Learning and development teams to:
    • Ensure that global, and regional strategies and processes are aligned with the people agenda’s strategic priorities
    • Cascade the global people agenda effectively across regions and local markets.
    • Maintain consistent application of Talent Management frameworks and tools across regions.
  • Design succession planning frameworks that build a comprehensive talent pipeline to ensure business continuity and leadership readiness
  • Lead a Community of Practice through your teams, overseeing the alignment of talent management initiatives, growth culture, DE&I, talent acquisition and leadership learnings.

What we’re looking for
To succeed in this role, we envision you bringing:

  • Proven experience leading global talent management and acquisition, learning, culture, and DE&I strategies as an HR executive across multiple regions (preferably including Asia) within a decentralized business model.
  • A strong track record of partnering with senior stakeholders in creating a diverse, winning, and compassionate culture.
  • Proficiency in defining success metrics and leveraging data, tools, and technologies to drive talent management and acquisition, L&D, Culture, and DE&I initiatives, with an ability to translate global talent metrics into actionable strategies that fuel organizational success.
  • Skills in aligning regional strategies and processes with global strategies.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in utilizing talent acquisition tools and technologies to optimize recruitment processes and outcome.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale change management efforts with a focus on cultural transformation, engagement, and process excellence.
  • Ability to demonstrate exemplary leadership by cultivating and guiding highly motivated, high-performing teams to achieve outstanding results.
