We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Herlev, Denmark or at one of our locations near Hamburg, Germany.

Key Responsibilities
- Become a Data Engineer at Paranova and take over the design, development and operation of our data platform in Microsoft Azure.
- From end to end, you will be responsible for connecting data sources, developing and optimizing complex ETL pipelines.
- Working as part of a team, you will continuously develop our data infrastructure to maximize the value of the data.
- You are familiar with agile change and requirements management.
- You will be responsible for evaluating new technologies and features, testing them in the form of proof of concepts and introducing them to the data analytics team.
- You actively approach specialist departments to specify requirements, promote data models and jointly support future data-driven projects in the concept phase.
- Become the driving force behind the automation and digitalization of our business processes, increase efficiency and secure the future of our company.
Skills and qualifications
- Through many years of professional experience, you have built up sound expertise in the development of ETL pipelines with Python, SQL or Spark.
- You have extensive experience in dealing with various data technologies, especially from the Microsoft Azure Cloud (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Databricks, Azure SQL Server, Azure DevOps)
- You are familiar with the field of data modeling/architecture.
- You enjoy working on your own initiative in a team and completing tasks reliably.
- It’s easy for you to understand complex processes.
- You have good English skills, knowledge of German is an advantage.
