Student Analyst, Energy Transition Fund

Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure investments? If so, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is the right place for you. We are looking for Student Analysts to join the Investment Team in the Energy Transition Fund in Copenhagen.
The Role
You will contribute to the development, structuring, and execution of CIP’s next generation renewable energy infrastructure investments with a focus on Power-to-X assets which produce carbon-neutral hydrogen and ammonia.
Student Analysts will be working closely with a highly well-versed investment team in a fast-pace dynamic environment and have opportunity to support across the entire deal lifecycle, from development of an investment thesis through development, construction and exit.
Key responsibilities include:
- Financial modeling, valuation, and structuring of investments
- Market analysis and due diligence of new investment opportunities
- Visualization and presentation of technical and financial data to stakeholders
- Working together with industrial partners and advisors
The position is part-time and based in our beautiful office in NordØ. CIP will seek to challenge and inspire you, while focusing on your learning and personal development. Top-performing Analysts will be considered for full-time Associate positions upon graduation.
You
CIP is looking for end of bachelor’s and beginning of master’s students in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or adjacent relevant fields to renewable energy investing.
We look for the following in a candidate:
- High academic performance and strong analytical skills
- Team player with excellent written and spoken English skills
- Interest in corporate finance, strategy and M&A
- Thriving with responsibility and displaying attention to detail
- Curious and creative mindset with an ability to work independently
- Good work ethic with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Experience in Excel and PowerPoint
- Genuine interest in renewable energy. Experience is a plus but not a requirement
- A positive attitude and a desire to work in a growing organization with a lot of responsibility and ability to shape your own working day
