SENIOR CATEGORY ANALYST, POZNAŃ (6 months contract)
Role overview
The Category Analyst supports the execution of category strategies defined by the Global Category Director on a local, regional or global basis. The role is primarily responsible for providing analytical, project and administrative support to the Category Team. This role has a key focus on Hops and Cans categories and will also support other categories on analytical tasks.
What you’ll be doing
- Contract & price management in SAP
- Preparation of analysis/presentations on supplier performance and supporting category specific or leading improvement projects
- Market and spend analysis, preparing and elaborating on supporting documentation for supplier selection and contract negotiations
- Ownership of the category performance (budget, PPV, regional savings pipeline)
- Global stock ownership in hops including inventory level, demand calculation and distribution/allocation process
- Integrating the current solutions to create automation and efficiency
- Aggregation of demand globally from local demand
- Supplier discussions regarding hops, including adjustment to supply commitments
- Understanding local business requirements and supply markets, coordinating cross border implementation and providing input to category strategy
- Local stakeholder management on an on-going daily basis
- Category analytics and database management
- Supporting budget process through deep cost structure understanding
- Co-ordinating and running Supplier Performance reviews where agreed with Category Director in countries, setting and delivering clear value improvement agenda with suppliers / stakeholders
- Other administrative tasks
What we’re looking for
- Educational background in Procurement or Economics
- Min. 2 years relevant experience in Supply Chain, Finance or Commercial
- Work experience in related industry, particularly in virtual team
- Data savviness & proven skills in Excel, SAP, MS Office & other tools
- Strong drive, interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced analysis and problem-solving skills
