Job Description

Are you a skilled data-savvy engineer who’s ready to take technical ownership of a powerful data consolidation platform, driving growth through e-commerce and content analytics?
Then join our team where you will be both a hands-on engineer and the architect for an outstanding product team, driving the architectural vision and setting the foundation for success!

Core Responsibilities
As Lead Engineer, you are responsible for nurturing the engineering culture, defining the technical direction, establishing standard methodologies, and ensuring alignment to the overall domain architecture. Furthermore, you take ownership for achieving technical objectives and strategies. Responsibilities include:

  • As the technical representative for the product, build strong relationships and actively engage with collaborators both within and outside our Digital Technology department.

  • Staying proactive in the technology space by researching, evaluating, and introducing relevant tools, techniques, and methodologies to enhance team capabilities.
  • Handling resources, leading user/customer collaboration at all work stages, and supporting backlog prioritization with an engineering perspective
  • Contributing to cross-organizational initiatives and communities to shape technical strategies across Digital Technology
  • But also save enough time for what you love: writing code!

You will collaborate with the PM through your detailed tech know-how and be the go-to person for the developers when they need a hand on solving technical issues. API-enabling our products for greater integration within our digital ecosystem will be key, therefore, ensuring extraordinary engineering practice in code quality, documentations, and contribution to our API community will be part of your responsibilities.

  • Proficient in data-driven and data-informed product development.
  • Experience in cultivating a strong engineering culture in an agile and DevOps environment.
  • A passion for (Enterprise) architecture, API development, and microservices.
  • A standout colleague with a collaborative approach, actively sharing knowledge and engaging in community-building efforts.
