The graduate journey
Our Global Graduate Programme consists of three rotations, where you’ll solve business challenges, take responsibility for your own assignments, and engage in our day-to-day business decisions.

You’ll work on the power system for our offshore wind farms, connecting the wind turbines to the transmission grid. You’ll be an important part of the design and grid integration of the system.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • performing power system studies on an offshore wind farms, which could include load flow, voltage control, dynamic analysis, short circuit calculations, fault ride through, stability, and harmonic studies
  • understanding and defining the transmission system of our future offshore wind farms in collaboration with different expert teams
  • aligning with stakeholders on the wind farm control requirements whilst securing and documenting the implementation of the overall wind farm control philosophy across the wind farm components
  • keeping track of risks, technical challenges, and requirements
  • communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you:

  • have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering from before 1 September 2025
  • have a maximum of one year full-time, relevant relevant work experience between your master's completion and 1 September 2025 OR 1-2 years of full-time, relevant work experience between your bachelor’s completion and 1 September 2025
  • are familiar with power systems studies in simulation tools like PowerFactory, PSS/E or PSCAD
  • have a basic understanding of control theory and converter systems
  • have strong analytical skills, a high level of personal drive, and a high learning ability
  • have strong communication skills and are fluent in both spoken and written English.
