The position
As a Senior Project Manager in the Project Management Office, you will independently handle complex issues and make important decisions involving many key stakeholders across the Novo Nordisk organization. You will be highly involved, manage complexity and take initiative to continuously improve supply chain processes and stakeholder relationships. Through your strong analytical skills and innovative nature, you will drive improvement projects, exercise change management and systematic problem solving.
The position in anchored in Global Supply Chain Planning and will be reporting to the Project Director of Project Management Office.
Key responsibilities will be:
- Driving projects across Supply Chain together with stakeholders from all over Novo Nordisk
- Guiding and leading project teams and potentially a clusters of project teams
- Identify optimization opportunities within Supply Chain
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate has a strong project management, communication, analytical and organizational skills. You are innovative and driven by performing your tasks in a way that adds value and not nec-essarily in the way you are used to. You are used to be self driven and independently execute projects involving a high number of stakeholders across the value chain. You are willing to take respon-sibility for your own learning and to work as a team player to the benefit of the entire Novo Nordisk Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT) organization and the patients.
You have a proven ability to demonstrate stakeholder management skills enabling you to cooperate group-wide and to drive processes and you are persistent in your quest to understand risks and regulations, while you at the same time have the ability to connect the dots in light of the overall strategy, the direction of the company and industry dynamics.
The position requires an innovative and open mindset, well developed interpersonal skills and strong competences in communication, as you will work closely together with many different layers in the organization. A sense for discretion and confidentiality is essential.
We expect you to have:
- A relevant master’s degree e.g., in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or the like
- 8+ years of experience with project management
- Abilities to communicate clearly, drive and move things forward
- A natural flair for business process optimisation and standardisation
- Experience with LEAN management and a project management certificate of training
Furthermore, it is an advantage if you:
- Have been driving Supply Chain Planning projects before
- Have experience with a highly regulated production
- Have experience with senior management communication
As a person, you are proactive and responsible and with a work structured mindset, goal oriented and focused on driving things forward. You are known for your high motivation & engagement. Completes to have an excellent cross-cultural collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
About the department
You will be joining Project Management Office within Global Supply Chain Planning. The unit is re-sponsible for supporting our Global Supply Chain Planning management and teams with strategic optimization projects supporting our production sites to deliver to plan.
You will become part of a team of highly skilled and driven colleagues with high engagement and focus on delivering strong results. We are a newly established team consisting of different roles and profiles but with the same purpose of supporting our Global Supply Chain Planning. We hereto are working individually but as well together across projects. Coming into this new team you will have the opportunity to shape your own role and join a team with a diverse and inclusive mindset.
