We are looking for a Business Developer to join the Portfolio Management team to support running existing rituals and to continuously increase the maturity of our portfolio management (incl. utilization of OKRs, stakeholder engagement & leadership reporting). This is full-time and permanent position.
About our team
Meet the Personal Banking Portfolio Management team. We add value by driving systemic continuous improvement and by linking agile software development with business priorities. Our tasks include coordinating yearly development budgeting and quarterly leadership reporting on progress and benefits of digital development.
Our Nordic team currently has 4 members across Helsinki and Copenhagen. You will be joining a team of high-performers that has unique visibility at the crossroads of business and technology. Portfolio Management Team is part of Service Area Management organization under Personal Banking COO. Service Area Management combines tech portfolio management for change and run for Nordea’s largest Business Unit - Personal Banking. We work in a fully virtual (MS Teams enabled) cross-Nordic team while attending our local offices three days a week.

Main responsibilities in this role:
- You will work closely with a senior expert to run the existing rituals (for example scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and materials)
- You will work with your own team and wide range of stakeholders to continuously improve different aspects of our portfolio management (incl. utilization of OKRs and benefit tracking, stakeholder engagement & leadership reporting)
- You will support in process development and driving change towards a new BizDevOps operating model, with the focus of combining run and change
- You will perform analyses and prepare decision material for senior technology and business leaders
Who you are
This is the right role for you if you have a continuous improvement mindset and are excited to work in a large and complex organisation between business and technology. Tolerance for mainly virtual interactions is a must for enjoying the role.
Your background and skills include:
- You can efficiently and independently plan ahead and coordinate tasks & and proactively ask your team members for help when needed (even if team members sit in different countries)
- You can communicate well in writing and speech and summarize complex topics into simple visuals, messages, and storylines
- You are comfortable with working with and drawing insights from numbers
- Suitable educational background with a university degree that shows keen interest in solving practical problems with analytical methods (Bachelor's or Master's degree)
- Around 2 - 4 years of relevant experience from e.g., agile software development, management consulting or business development roles
It would be ideal if you also have:
- Prior understanding of the banking industry
- Keen interest in modern digital development for consumers and the accompanying agile methods
- Suitable functional experience e.g. process or portfolio management, application portfolio management, working with SAFe framework, working with OKRs
