Join our dynamic team in Planning, Budgeting and Controlling (PB&C) where you and your colleagues will ensure efficiency within reporting, optimization of processes, and follow-up on performance.
As a Business Controller, you will join a skilled PB&C team, responsible for providing analyses and forecasts to support the business. You will serve as a vital partner, offering insights and guidance to both the business and Aalborg Portland's management. Reporting to the PB&C Manager at Aalborg Portland, you will be part of a team which plays a pivotal role in managing Aalborg Portland's ongoing controlling tasks, where balancing the reporting is combined with various tasks for our management.
You'll also face challenges in developing and implementing processes and reporting mechanisms in close partnership with the business. For the right candidate there will be possibilities in enhancing our current reporting set-up and BI reporting both within Aalborg Portland PB&C and towards the business.
Assignments
- Join the controller team at Aalborg Portland, undertaking both specific and cross-functional controller tasks
- Continuous maintenance and improvement of existing reporting, and for the right candidate also development of new reporting set-up across business units, enhancing further automation and BI usage in our reporting
- Engage in management reporting and optimize various areas through financial analyses, insights and recommendations for optimizations
- Conduct various ad hoc analyses on profitability, optimization opportunities, business cases and related matters
- Act as a financial sparring partner for the business and Aalborg Portland’s management, offering guidance and insights
Your Profile
- You hold a master’s degree in economics and business administration (Management Accounting and Control) or similar. Optionally, you could also come with a background from IT and/or IT consultancy with ambition to be more involved in the supporting business needs and requirements
- Ideally, you have 2-4 years of experience, but we are also open to recent graduates who demonstrate the right profile
- While experience in a manufacturing company is preferred, it is not mandatory
- Familiarity with SAP is an advantage
- You possess great Excel skills and have an interest and natural flair for IT and BI-related reporting
