We seek an innovative full-stack engineer to join an outstanding Developer Productivity (DP) team of highly skilled engineers – Brave engineers with a mission to improve developer efficiency in our digital organization, so we can reach even more kids with a digital experience – and have an upbeat experience ourself along the path!
Core Responsibilities
Digital transformation is a key priority for the LEGO group, and we believe that a lean developer experience is key to achieving our transformation goals. DP focuses on improving by providing self-service & automated access to everything a developer needs to build outstanding digital products.
As a full-stack engineer in DP, you are encouraged to:
- Develop and run Websites, APIs and data objects that support developers and reduce cognitive load.
- Evaluate, architect and, handle developer tools used in the LEGO Group.
- Catch up with your teammates to deliver high-quality solutions, reduce technical debt and become a high-performing team.
- Write clean, well-tested code, and have fun doing it.

The position is part of the larger Developer Experience and Cloud Foundation area, providing product teams in the LEGO Group with foundational capabilities for developing, deploying, and operating IT solutions. As an engineer in DP, you will be part of a team that builds the next generation of our "developer experience and productivity platform".
In DP we strive to find the balance between reducing cognitive load with architecture guidelines and platforms and on the other side empowering developers to be in control of their code and architectures.
The team is based in the new LEGO®Campus in Billund, offering an exciting, inspiring, and flexible work environment.
Do you have what it takes?
We are looking for candidates who preferably hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or who have equivalent working experience. Also, have more years of experience as a software developer in delivering full stack solutions and APIs, and are native in automating tests and CI/CD pipelines. Perhaps some knowledge/experience with IaC, DDD, Clean Architecture and/or Scrum.
Our preferred tech stack is C#, TypeScript, React, and Azure, and data products are manipulated with Python. Preferably strong candidates have experience with some or all these technologies.
Strong written and spoken English skills are required.
