Industrial Engineer, Automation & Process Development
Do you want to use your knowledge of machinery and manufacturing technology in an innovative setting? Step into a key role where you support and collaborate with our production team to develop and implement new products and improve manufacturing processes.
Your Challenges
You will be instrumental in the development and upkeep of our production tools at our factory in Skjern through the introduction and implementation of new technology and manufacturing processes. As the technical point of contact between product development, equipment manufacturers, raw material suppliers, project management, and your colleagues in production, you will spend the majority of your time in production, focusing on:
- Introducing new product launches and product changes into the production environment, in cooperation with supply project management.
- Defining and purchasing new equipment for production setup, test equipment, and production cells.
- Validating production test series for new products, software, product updates, and new equipment.
- Coordinating, implementing, and testing new technology.
- Identifying, planning, and realizing continuous improvements to existing equipment and processes.
- Conducting root cause and error analysis for quality issues, capacity problems, and breakdowns.
- Creating and managing production floor layouts in cooperation with Production Supervisors.
- Proposing and realizing projects focused on better tools and machine utilization, consumable materials consumption, and waste reduction.
- Reacting to quality result deviations and proposing short- and long-term technical solutions in cooperation with the Quality Department.
The Technical Department team consists of 20 experienced industrial engineers and maintenance personnel ready to welcome you onboard. We do not expect you to know all there is to know about our tools and processes before you join us, as these are specific to our trade. Instead, we are eager to share our knowledge and experience with you, helping you grow into the role.
Your Qualifications
You are service-minded, known for your ability to listen, and always seeking to find solutions through collaboration and dialogue. With your structured nature, you can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ensure each one is completed with attention to quality. Willingness to learn is important. Moreover, you:
Likely have a background as a production technologist, automation technician, engineer, or marine engineer. Alternatively, you may have vocational education, such as an auto mechanic or electrician, combined with supplementary training in engineering.
You have some experience in a similar role, perhaps from a production environment.
Proficiency in both English and Danish.
You are innovation-oriented and interested in new technology and solutions.
