Our department plays a crucial role in supporting the Vestas R&D organization by implementing product strategy to align with market needs. Our team focuses on developing product roadmaps, defining product architecture, and guiding the organization in implementing product strategy through modular methodologies.

Your position as Senior Project Manager will involve guiding significant projects towards the strategic realization of our product goals. The position requires a candidate proficient in stakeholder interaction management, with experience in complex project orchestration, and an earnest fascination with the mechanisms of organizational change.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the lead project manager, supporting Product Strategy initiatives, including architecture and modularization projects across product, module, and value chain organizations
• Cooperate with Project managers colleagues to support each other’s growth and development
• Plan and oversee the combined Architecture & Roadmaps portfolio, ensuring seamless execution of activities
• Initiate new projects within the portfolio and take responsibility for maintaining high-quality project baselines
• Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and opportunities to senior management, ensuring transparency and strategic alignment
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in a relevant field, demonstrating good analytical skills and the ability to understand complex business and transformation projects
• At least 8 years of total professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years in project management within complex, large-scale global organizations
• Formal training and certification (e.g., PRINCE2, IPMA, Project Management Professional (PMP)) are preferred but not mandatory
• Experience in the wind energy industry is beneficial but not essential

• Skilled communicator with a keen ability to listen carefully
• Methodical and organized, with keen attention to detail, while capable of making pragmatic compromises when necessary
• Experienced in handling complex networks of stakeholder interests and creating enduring, collaborative rapport
• Solid experience in managing diverse stakeholders effectively
• Skilled at autonomous work and equally adept at contributing to group effort
• Thrives in a dynamic, busy, and flexible working environment
