The R&D Software department comprises of more than 70 people within software development and makes up for about 1/3 of the R&D organization in FOSS - and we are growing.
The job
We are looking for a C# developer to collaborate closely with our team on the FossCalibrator project. You will work on a legacy platform, extending it with new features based on customer requests. We are currently in the early stages of defining a new version of the platform using web-based technology and follow an agile development process.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Development of software based on Microsoft technologies
(.Net, Azure, Entity Framework, MS SQL server, WPF) - Giving input to software design and architecture
- Create and maintain automatic tests
- Extend existing software solution with new features
- Support our testers during validation
- Participate in code reviews and giving feedback
Your daily work will be at the FOSS Innovation Center in Hillerød, Denmark.
Qualifications

- Experienced C#/.Net software developer
- Good at maintaining existing software
- Has a flair for troubleshooting
- Experience with Agile methodologies and scrum development processes
We will evaluate your knowledge within software development using an external programming test framework followed by an interview with one of our principal software engineers.
Personal skills
You have an analytical mindset and a methodical approach to software development, as well as the ability to bring a positive attitude into the development team. You do not mind flagging problem areas, and a flair for doing this in a positive and constructive manner.
People respect you, and like to work with you, because of your technical knowledge and ability to communicate complex concepts in a concise manner. You master the art of simplicity, and you promote continuous improvement to the way of working for you and your team.
