Here’s what the job entails
In the role, you will be responsible for developing, executing and monitoring trading strategies across Western and Central Europe. Specifically, your responsibilities include:
- tracking your trading performance and providing insightful updates to stakeholders
- conducting in-depth market analysis to keep a pulse on market developments
- supporting and developing Danske Commodities’ growing asset and customer portfolio

As our new senior forward trader, you will join our small, but dedicated, Forward Power Trading team, which trades across the Central and Western European Power curves. We are a team of three specialists, complementing each other’s strengths within both analysis and trading. Our success in a fast-paced trading environment relies on teamwork and knowledge-sharing, and we prioritise a healthy work-life balance to keep us energised and motivated.

Your qualifications

As you will be working with various stakeholders across the organisation, we are looking for a team player who thrives on collaboration. Also, as we operate in a high-paced and changeable environment, we are looking for someone adaptable who is motivated by a dynamic environment.
We also imagine that you have:
- at least three years’ experience trading in European power markets, with a proven track record
- solid analytical skills and perhaps some coding experience
