At Secomea, we are now looking for a passionate and talented Business Controller to join our Finance department. In this role you will own and deliver initiatives across budgeting and forecasting, modelling and business controlling strategic business cases and much more to support the CFO and management in their decisions.
We are currently undergoing a period of expansion, and have dedicated ourselves to helping businesses leverage the power of Industrial IoT. We are on a mission to further elevate industry standards with a solution that exceeds international security requirements, focusing on scalability and ease of use.
We are headquartered close to Copenhagen, Denmark with offices in China, Japan and North America and have a global network of distributors. Secomea is private equity owned and have obtained seven consecutive Gazelle prizes.
Responsibilities as Business Controller
A key focus of this new, global role is to oversee the business controlling of our fast-growing SaaS business area, streamlining daily operations and guaranteeing the highest level of reporting accuracy and insights.
Further responsibilities
- Support the forecasting and budgeting processes
- Undertake in-depth variance analysis on financial results and present key insights (via SaaS KPIs etc.)
- Preparation of business cases for the Secomea management
- Development and maintenance of financial models
- Leverage data tables to drive automation and streamline processes
- Various ad-hoc analyses regarding ongoing business decisions
You will report directly to the CFO and have close cooperation and sparring with him and the rest of the Finance & Operations team.
Your background includes
- A master’s degree in finance, economics or similar
- 2-4 years of experience in a medium-size or large enterprise in a role with FP&A tasks and/or business controlling. You might also be newly graduate with some years of similar experience in a student job
- Strong analytical skills, capable of working with large datasets to derive insights
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
- Strong problem-solving skills
As a person, you are driven, hands-on, and have a proactive approach. You take ownership of your tasks and are always looking for more efficient and effective ways of working. It’s also important that you have a great ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively as a team player. You like to be challenged by a high-pace culture including frequent priority changes.
