The Position
As a Senior Lean Partner, you will be an integral part of business support in PS – API. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering a culture where lean is the standard way of operating through developing principles and systems for teaching, guiding, and coaching our leaders and employees.
Your responsibilities will encompass actively participating in and ensuring continuous process improvement and sharing best practices across API. Your expertise will be instrumental in monitoring and reviewing cross-organizational issues within PS API, leading to the creation of solutions that enhance business results.
Key tasks will also include:
- Maturing and deploying Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
- Identifying and supporting cross-organizational problem solving (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt).
- Developing our Lean competences and skill set in API, via our Lean Academy.
- Supporting the implementation of the elements in the NN Lean Supply System.
- Advising API management teams on lean principles and systems, as well as on the future direction for lean in API.
- Formulating, communicating, and implementing corporate strategies supporting our business targets.
Furthermore, you will be instrumental in fostering collaboration with other lean partners across the organization in an ever-changing environment, effectively balancing your efforts between operations and projects. Additionally, you will occasionally provide support to the organization with ad-hoc systematic problem-solving or workshop facilitation, thereby enabling process stability, increasing capacity, or reducing unit costs.
Qualifications

You will have a high degree of independence and the opportunity to influence our organization on the lean mindset and methodology.
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:
- An academic degree in engineering, business or other relevant field.
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing role, with strong stakeholder management skills. This role involves interactions with CVPs and lean partners across multiple manufacturing sites therefore leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential.
- Experience with LEAN implementation, project management, strategy deployment, coaching, change management, and cultural transformation, along with expertise in LEAN transformation and/or turnaround processes in a large multi-site, international environment.
- Professional proficiency in English.
On a personal level, you have a remarkable ability to communicate with clarity and assertiveness along with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscape and negotiate at a strategic level. You demonstrate excellent cooperation skills and excel in fostering collaboration and ensuring active engagement among other employees.
About the Department
You will be part of API – Business Support – a diverse unit comprising of +180 employees with headquarters in Kalundborg. The position is in department ‘API cLEAN, where we provide various types of support to the CVP areas and the management team.
Overall, we have the responsibility for maturing lean in the organization by developing guiding principles, robust systems, and standardized tools? Deploying lean related initiatives and supporting on ad hoc cases in Line of Business.
