The Trading Excellence department is responsible for creating and implementing best practices and process improvements within the trading functions.

The team was recently established as one out of three new teams (Digital Trading Products, Global Trading & Market Events, and Trading Excellence) as part of the Pharma Trading Business-unit.

Your main responsibilities include

• Lead Local Projects: Take ownership of local projects, overseeing planning, execution, and successful delivery while aligning with department objectives.

• Creation of Onboarding & Training Content: Design and create comprehensive onboarding and training materials to support new hires and enhance team skill development within Trading activities and processes.

• Creation of Playbook Content: Develop detailed playbook materials, establishing best practices and standardized procedures within our trading activities.

• Preparing Forum Topics & Content: Develop, prepare, and curate topics and materials for forums, fostering knowledge-sharing and collaboration across commercial.

• Global Business Reporting: Responsible for developing and anchoring Trading Excellence reporting together with the FBP & CMT

• Global Business Governance: Responsible for developing and anchoring Trading Excellence governance together with the CMT

• Local Sparring: Act as a local advisor, providing guidance and support in various trading activities across departments in commercial

Fuel for your success in the role, we imagine you have
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

• Proven track record in trading within Abacus Medicine, bringing over 2+ years of hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of the PI and Abacus trading environment

• Possesses a solid grasp of complex concepts and the ability to connect various elements of the business, supporting strategic thinking and decision-making.

• Maintains a well-developed network across Abacus Medicine, facilitating collaboration and quick access to resources within the organization.

• Known for a methodical approach to tasks and processes, with an ability to organize workflows efficiently, prioritize effectively, and ensure smooth project execution.

• Strong analytical mindset, skilled in interpreting data to draw insights, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.

• Demonstrates strong leadership abilities or a high potential for growth into a leadership role, with the capability to motivate and guide team members towards achieving goals.

• Project Management Experience, familiar with supporting project planning, tracking timelines, and coordinating with team members to meet goals.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders to drive initiatives forward.
