We're on the lookout for an experienced Senior or Staff Product Manager, who will play an instrumental role in shaping our go-forward eCommerce digital product strategy, delivering on our ambition of creating a best in class discovery, purchase and fulfilment experience.

The role
As Staff Product Manager you will be taking on a strategically important role, working with a talented team of engineers and designers responsible for the overall purchase experience on our web and app platforms. eCommerce is how we do business, and this role is truly at the heart of what we do!
Your focus will be on the user journey from discovery all the way through to purchase, making this as seamless, intuitive and delightful for our crafters as possible. You will own the strategy and the execution of how we use our platform to accomplish business goals, leveraging insights to inform which problems we solve first and being responsible for delivering outcomes with your team. You’ll be joining Hobbii as we near the end of completing a replatforming to Shopify, with a team and platform ready to evolve.
Your mission over the next 12 months…
- Define and develop a strategic roadmap for developing our eCommerce platform
- Lead your product team to deliver value - plan and execute the product work to deliver measurable, incremental results, moving us closer to achieving a best in class shopping experience, and improving on our key commercial metrics quarter over quarter, namely revenue growth, conversion rate, AOV and NPS.
- Deliver meaningful incremental solutions to our customers experience of shopping with Hobbii
- Introduce processes to enable research, experimentation and rapid feedback loops
- Develop a framework for measuring the success of your product and feature set
- Act as a coach to the wider product team - you’re joining as an experienced member of the team, share that knowledge and experience with our wider org!
Your mastery (in priority order)
- Experienced product manager with 5+ years of experience leading product teams in similar roles (senior, staff or head of product)
- Experience building and operating eCommerce solutions for businesses operating internationally in multiple markets…
- …where the eCommerce platform is part of a broader eCommerce architecture - i.e. ERP, PIM and CMS systems
- Deep collaboration skills and experience transforming relationships with key stakeholders and partners across commercial, merchandising and customer service to demonstrate the value of product-centric growth
- Demonstrated ability to deliver impact and results with your work in a measurable way
- (Nice to have) Shopify experience coming from migrating to and/or building on the Shopify platform previously
The wider team
You will be joining as a senior member of the team in the eCommerce Group, which includes the Shop team you’ll be joining to lead, and the Fulfilment team led by another PM with many years of Hobbii experience under their belt.
Your immediate colleagues will be the engineers and designers in the empowered, outcome focussed product team(s) within your Group, as well as experts from across marketing and operations (our logistics, fulfilment and finance experts). You’ll report to the CPO, working together to build an insights driven product strategy for your domain.
