About the role
In Portfolio & Project Management we are committed to innovation, project execution, and delivering outstanding results for our clients. We are seeking an experienced Director to lead our dynamic team of five managers. Leading this area, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring successful outcomes and thriving collaboration with the client.
We are looking for a leader who values feedback and empowerment. You’ll work alongside a diverse and highly talented team of 120 project managers and assistants across Denmark and India. Your role will significantly impact our ability to work as a cohesive team and manage an expected growth in our area. With this growth you will make sure we can meet the demands of building on our world class project management capabilities of both future and current employees.

How you might spend your days
As a Director, you’ll be
- Leading and manage the Project and Portfolio Management department.
- Developing and implement project management methodologies, standards, and tools.
- Oversee the portfolio of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborating with senior leadership to align projects with organizational strategy.
- Mentoring and develop project managers and other team members.
- Monitoring project performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Managing stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization.
- Visiting locations where your team are located, meaning primarily (but not limited to) offices in Virum, Kalundborg and Bangalore.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Hold a relevant degree within Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project and portfolio management, with a track record of successful project delivery within pharmaceutical production or related industry.
- Great leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- PMP, PgMP, or similar certification is highly desirable.
