About the role
We are looking for an experienced data scientist skilled within the area of applied statistical analysis. As a team, we are working on creating value from data.
Why do we need you? Our team of Data Scientists acts as subject matter experts, supporting our clients within the pharmaceutical area. We collaborate across our team to supply the right solution to our clients' problems in a timely manner. Your role will be key in ensuring a high technical level, as well as supporting our internal collaboration and support of younger colleagues. You are expected to actively participate in promoting and selling our data science services both internally and externally.

How you might spend your days
As a Data Scientist you'll be working with a passionate team where, you’ll be:
- Acting as consultant towards our clients promoting our services to potential clients while focusing on value creation
- Taking lead on our deliveries within data analysis of manufacturing data, building predictive and descriptive models using JMP from SAS and other relevant software programs
- Setting up experimental plans for e.g., design of experiments (DoE) or measurement system analysis (MSA), assisting in execution, and analysing the results
- Inspire and challenge our customers to do more with their data – leveraging the possibilities within data engineering, data connectivity, and advanced data science such as AI/ML techniques
- Building best practices within GMP compliant data analysis to meet the demands of health authorities and our customers
- Working within a team of skilled data engineers and data scientists based between our offices in Virum, Kalundborg, and our office in Bangalore, India, with regular travel to Danish customers

- Capable of conveying advanced statistical analysis and results in an understandable manner even for non-statisticians

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- You have a M.Sc. degree in e.g., engineering within data science, statistics, or pharmaceutical production
- You have a solid understanding of applied statistics and mathematical modelling that can deliver rapid insights in hours – ideally using statistical software programs such as JMP from SAS
- You have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the life science/biotech industry and a minimum of 8 years working within the field of applied statistics
- Experience in selling your own and colleagues' services
- You speak and write Danish and English fluently
