The position
As our new Finance Partner, you will be responsible for developing short and long-term cost forecasts for one of the biggest pharma facilities in Novo Nordisk. The facility is currently under construction and a key task will be to create financial forecasts for costs of operating the facility after production starts. Another primary responsibility for the individual stepping into this role will be acting as a key financial partner for the assigned area. Our diverse team consists of experienced finance professionals who work together as a team, offering plenty of opportunities for collaboration and development.

Your day-to-day areas of responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining the key financial processes including budgets, rolling forecasts, and monthly reporting in assigned areas of our organization.
  • Developing, creating, and monitoring relevant follow-up tools enabling key insights to the financial status
  • Communicating status and forecasts to the management team and the financial organization

In this role, you will be also working on creating forecasts for expected manpower and associated costs in the organization, operational costs while the organization is still in investment mode, and long-term operational costs while ramping up production.

Qualifications
To succeed in the role, you have:

  • Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience with financial planning and analysis.
  • An excellent understanding of financial management, financial planning process-es, controlling, and accounting elements including product costing, to ensure high-quality material.
  • Ability to work independently, set the direction when needed, and manage changes in processes.
  • Professional proficiency in English.

On a personal level, you present a "can-do" approach and a result-oriented attitude, enabling you to establish strong professional relationships internally and externally. Ad-ditionally, your ability to communicate complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner and to proactively manage numerous and changing priorities effectively is crucial. Most importantly, you are flexible and eager to take up new tasks and projects.

API Finance and Procurement support our API production facilities with financial analysis and business insights. We transform market and manufacturing data into strategies, informing managerial judgments with our findings. We contribute to a range of optimiza-tion projects and provide many insights that shape the way we will do things in the fu-ture. Our data sources are varied, and the models we employ have been part of Novo Nordisk's success – making us ready for the latest Novo Nordisk product is part of our mission, ensuring that we work in the best way possible, when it comes to efficiency, yield, and agility.
