Team and Role
Terma's Legal Department consists of 8 employees working with all areas of law relevant to our corporation and operations, including export control. With colleagues based in Lystrup and Søborg, we deliver legal support and advice to Terma’s many areas of business activities.
Terma operates within the highly regulated area of the international aerospace, defense and security sector and the legal team of which you will be a part possesses deep insight into the legal aspects of our industry. We work closely with our business colleagues and strive to deliver highly specialized and commercially keen legal advice to our internal customers and maintain solid compliance procedures in support of Terma’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for taking a leading role in the legal aspects of M&A processes in close cooperation with other internal key functions such as our Global Finance team and the commercial areas. You will assist in integration activities, and you will have a central role in initiating and maintaining relevant procedures and legal activities related to legal corporate governance. In all aspects of your work, you will work closely with all other internal departments and support functions as well as external advisors and service providers. As we operate in the security and defense industry, you will have the opportunity to gain experience with legislation that few other Danish companies can offer.
Your job will include a wide array of tasks related to M&A and general corporate law, including for example:
- Responsibility for coordinating and driving legal M&A work streams
- Lead the review, drafting and negotiation of agreements
- Support integration processes with the internal teams
- Advise in legal aspects related to our foreign subsidiaries, corporate law and general legal matters related to Terma’s operations and the industry in which we operate
- Drafting and update of processes and instructions within the legal area
- Conduct relevant training to our internal stakeholders
Qualifications
Your qualifications include:
- An education as cand.jur., preferably with a background as attorney
- +4 years of solid work experience from other in-house legal position or international law firm
- Strong legal skills and experience within companies- and corporate law and compliance
- Must have excellent English skills, spoken as well as written

- You can tailor a compromise in a balance between legal and commercial aspects of a given situation and can stand your ground when required
- You have strong verbal and written skills
- You are comfortable leading an effort with internal or external stakeholders and follow up until the job is done
- You are curious about technology and interested in learning about Terma’s products and technologies
- You are a positive person; possess a good sense of humor, team spirit and a strong motivation to contribute professionally and personally to our department and to Termas growth journey within our industry
