Are you on the lookout for new adventures? Would you like to become a specialist in media and news monitoring? Then, you could be the right person to join our Nordic team in Tallinn. We are currently looking for either a Nordic or a local candidate for the position.
Your new role
As a Media Intelligence Specialist at Infomedia´s Service Hub in Tallinn, Estonia, you will work with news content and making sure that our clients receive news stories that are relevant to them on a daily basis. We will provide a complete training program, after which you will be working with and supporting some of the biggest companies and organisations in the Nordic region.
You will join a Nordic team, and communication as well as collaboration with international colleagues will be an integral part of your day. Your primary tasks will include:
- Correct and efficient selection of news content for specific clients.
- Quality Control of news selections made by partners abroad.
- Ongoing development of internal processes, e.g. internal training and best practices.
- Production of written summaries of news articles and broadcast content.
The perfect match
Maybe you are a recent graduate from university, and maybe you have experience from similar roles within media, communication, journalism etc. However, your background is less important than the right skills and mindset. To us, the ideal candidate is someone who:
- Is enthusiastic about delivering quality products to our customers.
- Has top-rate communicative skills, both oral and written. A high level of English is a must, and it is a plus if you are also familiar with one or more of the Nordic languages.
- Is analytical, structured, and comfortable working with deadlines.
- Is comfortable with getting to know new systems and tools – we use various tools in our daily work.
- Is a team player. You will collaborate with colleagues across the company, and we expect you to positively contribute to the team and our company.
- Is comfortable starting their working day at 6 AM and work weekend shifts 1-2 times per month.
- Resides and has a work permit in Estonia.
What can you expect from us?
- A job in an exciting industry that is ever-changing and evolving. We operate at the intersection of media and technology.
- A diverse workplace. We are a Nordic company, and your future colleagues are local Estonians as well as ex-pats and newcomers from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland. You will work closely with people in Tallinn but also people from the other offices, so much of your daily communication will happen via online tools.
- We offer the opportunity to work remotely up to two day every week. You are of course also more than welcome to work from our office in Tallinn five days a week. Remote work requires you to have a stable and fast internet connection.
- An office centrally located in Tallinn’s Ülemiste City, which is easily accessible by public transport.
- We are not all about work, though. There are also annual parties at the office and the occasional Friday bar.
