Are you an experienced media relations professional eager to further strengthen DSV’s global media presence?
In September, we announced the acquisition of Schenker from Deutsche Bahn, sparking a significant increase in media interest and coverage. To leverage this momentum, we are seeking an experienced Senior Press Officer to join our team and drive DSV’s global media presence forward.
You will make an impact by:
- Developing and executing a strong external communication strategy that includes media relations, social media content, and corporate messaging to further strengthen DSV’s media presence and support our growth.
- Driving DSV’s visibility in international tier-one media, as well as in Danish and German business media by positioning the company’s global reach and capabilities and its commitment to advancing a more sustainable and digital transport and logistics industry.
- Building strong media relations and managing inquiries, which includes coordinating responses, developing media kits, preparing spokespersons, and measuring coverage and its impact on DSV’s reputation.
- Contributing to effective issues management by ensuring timely and professional external communication during incidents or crises.
- Advising senior management, contributing to decision-making on external positioning and enhancing their presence on SoMe.
- Collaborating with local MDs and MarCom colleagues to support proactive outreach and reactive media handling in line with the agreed governance model, as well as partnering with Investor Relations and Legal on financial communication.

A trusted advisor with a proven track record of strong execution
We are looking for a skilled and reliable advisor with an exceptional ability to execute, who is eager to drive a strong global media presence for DSV. You are clear and composed under pressure, and you communicate effectively during times of crisis. Additionally, we expect you to have:
A relevant master’s degree in journalism or corporate communications
- 7+ years of experience, ideally in a listed company with an international presence
- A proven track record of proactively driving a strong media presence and effectively handling incidents and crises
- Strong stakeholder management and collaborative skills, evidenced by a history of fostering robust relationships and driving alignment across diverse teams, geographies, and organizational levels
- A well-established network of media contacts, including Danish, international, and ideally German outlets
- The ability to combine strategic communication with fast-paced, tactical execution
- Excellent writing and message-crafting skills in English and Danish, with German proficiency as a plus
- Resilient and adaptable, capable of navigating the demands of a rapidly expanding business while upholding the highest standards of quality and performance.
