Training Assistant - Coordinate an International Training Program

DSV A/S

Job Req Number: 88297
Time Type: Full Time

Are you ready for:

  • a role in an international setting, where you quickly gain ownership of our training program for new freight forwarders at DSV?
  • coordinating and planning in-person workshops for an international crowd of colleagues?
  • a workday that varies a lot between coordination weeks and weeks where you are overseeing the actual trainings?

A small team within Group HR
Based out of our HQ in Hedehusene, Demark, you will become part of Group HR and our global learning & development team. You will be reporting to, Dovile Rikliute, who is heading up our global trainee programs and are based in Lithuania on a daily basis.

Together, you will be responsible for our international DSV training program for freight forwarders, that has participants from all over Europe.

“At first, I will regularly be in Denmark and teach you your way around – but in time, you will gain a lot of ownership for this training program and be able to facilitate the sessions on your own,” says Dovile Rikliute, Training Manager.

You coordinate and facilitate trainings
As the new training assistant, you will be assisting in planning, coordinating, and organising training sessions, managing trainee logistics, and ensuring smooth communication across teams and departments.

For approximately 20 weeks a year (spread out), the training will be physically conducted at HQ, where you will be overseeing and facilitating the program – in close cooperation with the program trainers. The other weeks will be busy with coordination, follow-ups and development of the program, and more specifically, you will:

  • Coordinate participation with trainees and local countries
  • Manage trainee logistics, including travel arrangements, accommodations, and schedules
  • Maintain and update training manuals and adjoining databases
  • Maintain and update the online learning platform for the programs
  • Assist in the evaluation and improvement of training programs based on feedback and performance metrics

All of the participants are new to DSV and maybe also to the job market in general, giving the program a great vibe with ample fresh input from all over Europe,” says Dovile.

You have strong communication and people skills …
… and are keen to step into a role where you can grow and gain a great amount of responsibility in a highly international setting. Furthermore, you can handle the buzz of coordinating an in-person workshop, staying both calm and adaptable through the unpredictability of training sessions.

We are very open to various entries into this role. Whether you have a university degree or perhaps some relevant experience is less important – most importantly, we imagine that you:

  • Are a skilled coordinator
  • Have great communication skills – that you can apply across both borders and professional levels
  • Have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Have English proficiency, written as well as orally
