The position
As a Contract Manager you will manage and oversee our company's contracts, ensuring that all contract terms and conditions are adhered to.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and other third-party service providers
- Ensure that all contract terms and conditions are clearly defined and understood by all parties involved
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, and take appropriate action to ensure that all parties are meeting their obligations
- Manage contract renewals, extensions, and modifications as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract files and databases
You will also get the chance to collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and mitigate contractual risks, as well as provide guidance and support to other team members on contract-related matters.
The position is based in Odense.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you we imagine you possess the following qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, law, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in contract management, procurement or a related field, preferably within large CAPEX projects
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology combined with demonstrable experience in managing contracts cost schedules, change order management, and liquidated damages management
- Demonstrated ability to manage contractual deliverables and develop effective working relationships with internal departments and external contractors
- Experience in engaging with multi-disciplinary teams including finance, engineering, and procurement, with excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken), while working proficiency in Danish would be an advantage
As a person, you are highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.

You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEX). The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT), which globally employ approximately 28,500 of Novo Nordisk’s 64,000 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology. We are setting the standards for the future, designing facilities we will still be proud of many decades from now.
