MATERIAL SUPPLY PLANNING MANAGER, POZNAŃ

Role overview

Western European Planning Team is focused on category planning, innovation and portfolio management as well as cross boarder export – it is further expanding into material supply management area. We are looking for a Material Supply Manager to support effective plans of long term planning and capacity management with suppliers combined with visionary set of tools and automation agenda.

What you’ll be doing

  • On-time In-full performance monitoring for key suppliers. Ensuring root cause analysis for OTIF failures and mitigation plans execution (related to materials supply) including joint action planning and Supplier SLA development
  • Co-leading reporting agenda: create reports and auxiliary tools allowing fast data collection and data aggregation at different granularity as input for capacity planning and supplier volume requirements
  • Co-leading automation agenda for existing tools, and processes. Identify new opportunities and improvements for the reports on material availability and supplier performance (including high-level data accuracy checks)
  • Ownership of the materials volume pass/validation in the monthly planning cycle for selected material categories. Executing decision-making process for alternative supply including commercial effects
  • Supporting RCCP rollout and ramp-up with strategic suppliers
  • Participating in annual budget and quarterly estimates preparation by leading material data workstream for material volume submission
  • Representing Western Europe Planning in multifunctional collaboration projects with Suppliers (e.g. process improvement, new material launch, and change)

What we’re looking for
We are looking for a person who:

  • Has min. 4 years of working experience in various planning areas (ideally material planning)
  • Has prior managerial or team lead experience, including working in a matrix organization
  • Has direct and advanced experience in the supplier management area (including negotiations, joint business collaboration, etc.)
  • is experienced in SAP/APO planning
  • Demonstrates a good understanding of reporting applications and various databases supported by very good MS Excel skills (data visualization in Power BI is an asset)
  • can set priorities and perform in a professional environment with minimum support
  • can effectively lead the agenda with peer stakeholders as well as higher levels of organization (Directors, VPs) including decision-making
  • has very good communication skills, is proactive with a high language culture, and is fluent in English
  • has worked in, and enjoys working in a diverse, and international environment;
  • has APICS certification (advantage) or procurement experience (advantage)
