Offshore Tools & Equipment Senior Specialist

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for the development and implementation of specialised tools solutions and processes supporting the optimal execution of wind turbine generator special tasks, inspections, and major components exchanges.
Welcome to Special Tasks & Inspections You’ll be part of the Technical Management team where you, together with your colleagues, will lead activities within development, implementation, and maintenance of tools and equipment solutions. The Technical Management team deliver and maintain tools solutions for a broad range of offshore maintenance activities on a global footprint. These include major component exchanges, up-tower repairs of major components, inspections of wind turbine generators and drivetrain components, and foundation inspections above and below water.

You’ll play an important role in:
· managing all aspects of the development and implementation of special tools and lifting equipment
· handling stakeholder inputs and transforming them into solution requirements
· providing technical support related to tools & equipment ensuring efficient and safe field operations
· reviewing documentation deliverables to maintain a consistently high quality of tools documentation
· keeping updated on tooling market trends and ensuring innovation and digitalization are integrated into new developments
· supporting tools coordinators with technical issues ensuring smooth daily operations.
To succeed in the role, you:
· hold a bachelor's or master's degree, or possess equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, marine engineering, or a related field
· have relevant experience as a Technical Specialist in the offshore wind industry, ideally with expertise in tools and equipment
· have experience in tooling design and design processes, including requirement setting, solution design, verification, and certification activities
· possess a strategic mindset combined with a proactive and hands-on working approach
· demonstrate strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, suitable for various levels of interaction with numerous stakeholders
