- Monitor and evaluate proposed, pending, and new data-related legislation and recommend changes necessary to ensure compliance;
- Draft and negotiate privacy provisions in a wide range of contracts, maintain and update policies and procedures relating to data privacy, maintain records of processing activities, prepare DPIAs, LIAs, work on international data transfer assessments, and respond to data subjects on DSARs, erasure requests and other data subject rights requests;
- Get stuck into AI Governance and help to build out Trustpilot’s strategy around the use of AI as well as working closely with the teams developing AI;
- Assist with investigating, assessing, and responding to any data incidents, including preparation of notices to affected data subjects and appropriate authorities;
- Help operationalise privacy and introduce automated, scalable solutions to improve management of privacy tickets, data records, PIAs, and other privacy projects and processes;
- Measure privacy maturity and compliance and report on key metrics and risk to senior stakeholders;
- Prepare and deliver privacy & AI training and improve privacy & AI awareness throughout the organisation;
- Respond to regulatory investigations and requests for information;
- Mentor more junior members of the Privacy Team.
