Your role and responsibilities
The Business manager for Motion Services will have the end-to-end responsibility for product portfolio management, global footprint, product portfolio strategy and offering development. Your organization have a global responsibility for technical support, expert services, spare parts, back end for sales in services and “center of expertise” in special issues or projects. Motion services act globally often through the local service organization in each country/region. Where your organization supports and sometime challenges them in questions like support, implementation, sales and exchange of old machines. Our product life cycle is up to 30 years and are very often critical for our customers. As the SSU Manager your mandate will be focused on growth and developing the global market. You will be responsible to lead team of 5 managers and 60 employees totally. The organization is well established and have an excellent knowledge of their market. You collaborate and share some competences with ABB Machines factory in Vasteras, for example project managers and some facilities. Travelling is about 8 to 10 weeks a year since you have a global perspective in the role. Do you see this as challenge and feel that you can make a positive contribution to the organization. Qualifications for the role
- 5 +years of experience in leading global teams, with a strong track record of
- driving growth in a service environment.
- Sound knowledge of large Motors and generators for applications in Heavy Industries.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for a global organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
- simultaneously.
- Outstanding command of the English language and university degree in engineering, economics or similar education.
